On the afternoon of January 29, 2026, amidst the joyful atmosphere of welcoming the new year, the Marketing Faculty of the University of Economics and Finance Ho Chi Minh City (UEF) successfully held its Faculty Meeting for Semester 2, academic year 2025-2026. This event was not only an opportunity to reflect on the past but also a crucial stepping stone to unify direction and elevate the quality of education in the new phase.

The gathering was honored to welcome Dr. Ly Thien Trang - Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation , and Ms. Do Minh Tam - Deputy Head of the Quality Assurance Department of UEF. On the Marketing Faculty's side, the ceremony was chaired by Dr. Phan Bao Giang – Vice Rector and Head of Faculty, along with faculty members from the Faculty's leadership team: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Hung, Dr. Nguyen Quang Trung, Ms. Huynh Tu Anh - Deputy Head of the Marketing Faculty, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa Nhai - Assistant Head of Faculty, and a large number of faculty members.
Strategic focus: Standardization and Quality Assurance
Opening the meeting, Dr. Phan Bao Giang delivered an important introductory speech, emphasizing the Faculty's unwavering goal of enhancing its training standing. Following this, Dr. Ly Thien Trang shared insightful information on the orientations and standards for Accreditation of Training Programs.

Innovating Training Methods: Practical Application and Competency-Based Approach
Delving into professional matters, Dr. Nguyen Quang Trung – Vice Dean of the Faculty – provided close guidance on training activities. Looking back at the first semester with many positive achievements, he emphasized that the task for the second semester is to continue improving the percentage of students meeting the learning outcomes and accurately assessing students' abilities.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa Nhai, M.Sc., disseminated regulations related to academic affairs in the new semester.
A notable new feature this year is the shift from traditional classroom observation to a more practical pedagogical competency enhancement plan. The Faculty continues to maintain its strength in "Hands-on Marketing" training, requiring teaching to closely follow internally compiled materials and conducting rigorous end-of-term assessments according to benchmark rubrics. The assignment of lecturers to specific subjects is also implemented to ensure consistency in teaching and course assessment.
At the same time, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa Nhai also disseminated detailed regulations related to academic affairs, ensuring the smooth operation of the teaching system.
Connecting and Celebrating
The gathering was made even more meaningful with activities of appreciation and recognition. Dr. Ly Thien Trang respectfully presented the "Best Performance" award to the lecturer with outstanding achievements in teaching English. Representing the Marketing Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Hung also presented a gift of appreciation to the Quality Assurance Center for their close collaboration over the past period.
The faculty members were honored in the Best Performance category for teaching in English, an internal event of the Faculty aimed at enhancing the quality of education.
Gifts from UEF's Marketing Department partners were presented as a token of appreciation to the esteemed lecturers at the gathering.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Phan Bao Giang offered words of encouragement and called upon all lecturers of the Marketing Faculty of UEF to work together and unite to achieve the most brilliant results, ensuring the quality of training lives up to the expectations of the University and society.
