Yamaha Motor Vietnam and UEF launch strategic partnership for students.

On the morning of October 8, 2025, a strategic meeting took place at the Southern branch office of Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. between representatives of the University of Economics and Finance Ho Chi Minh City (UEF) and the leadership of Yamaha Motor Vietnam. This event marks an important step in strengthening the university-enterprise relationship, opening a new chapter full of potential for both sides.

A strategic meeting to strengthen cooperative relations.

Attending the meeting on behalf of UEF were Dr. Phan Bao Giang - Vice Rector and Head of the Marketing Department, Mr. Bui Quang Dong - Head of Student Affairs, and other lecturers from the Marketing Department.  Representing Yamaha Motor Vietnam were Mr. Vo Tran Huy - Senior National Director, Marketing and Sales Division, and Mr. Vo Thai Son - Head of Southern Sales Department.

Dr. Phan Bao Giang - Vice Rector and Head of the Marketing Department (far right), Mr. Bui Quang Dong - Head of Student Affairs Department  (in the middle), and Mr. Nguyen Hong Thach, lecturer in the Marketing Department of UEF and  Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thach Anh Information Technology and Telecommunications Joint Stock Company , along with several other lecturers, were present at the exchange session.

In an open and constructive atmosphere, both sides exchanged views on long-term cooperation directions. The main goal is to build a sustainable cooperation roadmap, leading to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to bring practical value, especially creating a comprehensive learning, working, experience, and development ecosystem for UEF students.

Yamaha Motor Vietnam is a familiar brand to the UEF community, and today's meeting marks an important step in strengthening the relationship between the university and the enterprise.

Opening up many opportunities for practical experience for UEF students.

One of the key topics of the discussion was future cooperation programs aimed at directly benefiting students. Specifically, the collaboration between UEF and Yamaha Motor Vietnam is expected to be implemented in activities such as:

  • Internship and practical training opportunities: Students, especially those in Marketing, Business Administration, and Communications, will have the opportunity to experience a professional working environment at Yamaha.
  • Organizing workshops and thematic sharing sessions: Experts from Yamaha will directly participate in teaching and sharing practical experience in marketing, sales, and brand building.
  • Sponsoring academic competitions: Yamaha will partner with student competitions and projects, creating a platform for young UEF students to unleash their creativity.
  • Exclusive offers: UEF students will enjoy special programs and preferential policies when using Yamaha products and services.

 

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Phan Bao Giang emphasized: "UEF always pursues the goal of training closely linked to practical experience. Collaborating with a large and reputable brand like Yamaha Motor Vietnam not only helps students gain a realistic view of the industry but also equips them with the necessary skills to confidently enter the labor market, while simultaneously enhancing the brand value for both parties."

Simultaneously, Master Bui Quang Dong also presented an overview of student affairs activities at UEF and future cooperation directions. 

Mr. Vo Tran Huy - National Senior Director, Marketing and Sales Division, listened attentively to the proposals.

Mr. Vo Thai Son, Head of Sales for the Southern Region, also agreed with many of the points raised in today's meeting.

Expectations for sustainable cooperation and development.

The meeting concluded successfully, opening up many potential projects in the near future. Mr. Vo Tran Huy - National Senior Director, Marketing and Sales Division of Yamaha Motor Vietnam, shared: "We highly appreciate the quality of training and the dynamism of UEF students. Yamaha always seeks and is ready to cooperate with other organizations. We believe that, after reaching an agreement and proceeding to sign the contract, this cooperation will be a solid bridge helping Yamaha get closer to students, while spreading brand values ​​to the younger generation and bringing many practical values ​​to society."

Mr. Vo Tran Huy, Senior National Director of Marketing and Sales at Yamaha Motor Vietnam, shared his views on the cooperation program and the directions for both sides to leverage their strengths and bring even more value in the future.  

Both units shared heartwarming moments to reaffirm their excellent cooperative relationship.

This event is a clear testament to UEF's comprehensive connectivity strategy, affirming its position as a bilingual, international university that is always at the forefront of delivering the best value to its students.
