Chinese Language Students counselled about international mobility programs

JUNE 22, To help UEFers keep up with the latest information about the international mobility program, the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures in collaboration with the UEF International Institute held a consultation with regard to the international exchange program at two universities in China.

Representatives were Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan – Deputy Dean, Faculty of International Languages and Cultures and Ms. Huynh Tu Anh - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, mobility exchange programs are offered to Chinese Language students at Guangxi University for Nationalities and Qufu Normal University.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan presented an overview of the two universities as well as details on each program, such as tuition fees, admission fees, materials fees, textbooks, and other costs.

The program at Guangxi University for Nationalities and Qufu Normal University will last for 6 months, starting from September 2023.
 

Necessary conditions for students to apply for admission

Students applying for admission need to meet some requirements, including being second-year or higher Chinese Language students, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 and reaching Level 4 or higher Chinese Proficiency Certificate (HKS). Further information on admission time and student visas was also clarified.

The counseling session has updated UEFers on the requirements and essential information for admission. The international exchange program will be a brilliant opportunity to gain new knowledge, practice foreign language skills, and experience the unique culture of a country of billions of people.
