International bachelor's program students meet and greet representatives from LTU

03/05/2024

FEBRUARY 23 - UEF International Institute organized the “Meet and Greet” program for international bachelor's program students and representatives from Leeds Trinity University (LTU). The meeting gave UEFers a lot of useful information about LTU's academic program. This is also an opportunity for students to interact and communicate with experienced foreign lecturers.

Attending the meeting were students from the 2022 and 2023 cohorts of the international bachelor's program, a training cooperation between LTU and UEF. The program is coordinated and supported by Mr. Hoang Tran Quang Duong - Head of the International Academic Services.

LTU representatives met and shared helpful information for students of the international bachelor's program

Representatives from LTU participating in sharing and interacting with UEF students include Dr. Katie Lupton - Director of International Training, Head of International Business; Ms. Georgina Ashley - International cooperation officer. On February 4, the partner delegation had a successful working session with the International Institute aimed at promoting practical knowledge for students of the collaborative educational program between the two universities.

During the meeting, Dr. Katie Lupton provided an overview of LTU and its proud positions on the rankings. Regarding the collaborative undergraduate program between UEF and LTU (International Business), Dr. Katie Lupton pointed out the reasons why students should choose to pursue this program. With a modern designed learning curriculum covering standard knowledge from basic to advanced, there are many trending subjects in the current business field such as E-Business and E-Marketing, Leadership, International Management, etc.

UEFers confidently communicated and exchanged with LTU representatives

In addition, she also clearly demonstrated the benefits that students can attain after graduating from this program with a bachelor's degree from LTU. Thus, career prospects in the international market are also broadened for students. LTU representatives also opened a new path for students by offering a postgraduate program with attractive scholarships for those who aspire  to continue further research and studies at LTU after graduation.

In addition to providing information about the industry and the university, Dr. Katie Lupton also analyzed the international business market and discussed with students the opportunities and challenges of the industry in the current social context. Through these discussions, students can develop the necessary skill set to thrive and grow stronger in the future.

The meeting is a beautiful memory of students and international lecturers

The exchange session from LTU representatives provided students of the international bachelor's program with valuable insights into their field of study. Additionally, the previous working session between the two sides also opened up many innovation  opportunities in the upcoming educational program, such as updating and developing more international activities for students. We believe that the cooperative relationship between UEF and LTU will be increasingly tightened.
