More UEFers set off for Japan for corporate internship

JUNE 27, a group of UEF students departed to Japan to start a long-term corporate internship. The Faculty of Languages and International Culture, together with the UEF Center of Corporate Relations, held a send-off at Tan Son Nhat International Airport featuring the presence of faculty members, family and friends to encourage the students to successfully complete the 6-month internship. 
 

The two students departed for Japan to start their internships on the evening of June 27 

Mr. Huynh Quoc Phong Director, Center of Corporate Relations, Ms. Vu Tran Minh Thu and Ms. Vuong Minh Chau Faculty members, Faculty of Languages and International Culture sent farewells and hopes to UEFers. In addition, representatives of IFK Education and Translation Company the partner unit facilitating student internships in Japan, were present to guide students through airport procedures. 

There were 2 students participating in this internship abroad, including: Bui Thi Thanh Hoa and Tran Ngoc Phuong Uyen. Both of them will undertake their internship in different companies and fields, namely: Hitachiya Product Sales Co., Ltd., and Lake Center Hitachiya. Thanh Hoa and Phuong Uyen are seniors with a comprehensive understanding of Japanese language, culture, and the necessary skills for theỉr job. Based on these capabilities, they will excel in their internship and accumulate many valuable insights before their graduation.

 

UEF's faculty members conversed and shared information about this trip to reassure the families.

The handshakes, hugs and advice from families were memorized during the farewell. Faculty members also shared with the parents information about the internship and the mission of UEF, which helped parents feel reassured

Family members also expressed their trust in the university and sincerely thanked the faculty members for providing conditions for their children to study in a modern educational environment with international integration. In particular, the students’ internships in Japan were seen as a significant achievement and a solid stepping stone for their future careers. Parents also believe in their children’s maturity and respect their decisions.

Prior to now, the UEF delegation had visited intern students at companies in Japan and expressed their gratitude to the representatives of these businesses. This visit strengthened the partnerships between UEF and Japanese companies, creating more opportunities for students to study and gain experience in Japan.

In the upcoming July, UEF plans to send more students to Japan for internships. The university will always accompany and motivate students, ensuring they feel at ease, and ready to successfully complete their internships abroad. We hope Thanh Hoa and Phuong Uyen will quickly adapt to their new environment and make a good impression in Japan.
