The Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City visits and works with UEF

JANUARY 19, UEF welcomed Mr. Agustaviano Sofjan, The Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City, for a visit and working session. The delegation also included Ms. Eva Kurniati Situmorang, Consul for Education; and Ms. Soneta Asmara, Consul for Economic Affairs.

From UEF On the UEF’s behalf, there were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc, Vice President, and Director, UEF International Institute; Dr. Ngo Minh Hai, Vice President; Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung, Deputy Director,  of the International Institute; Ms. Duong Thi Vien An, Head of Financial Technology Department, Faculty of Finance and Accounting; Dr. Nguyen Tien Trung, Head of International Finance Department, Faculty of Finance and Accounting.

UEF welcomes the Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City for a visit and working session on the morning of January 19

During the visit and working session, UEF representatives provided an overview of the learning environment, cultural exchange activities, and academic collaborations in recent years between UEF and educational institutions in ASEAN countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Laos, etc.

Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc highlighted UEF’s previous collaborations with Universities in Indonesia. The meeting served as an opportunity for further development and expanding collaborative relationships with higher education institutions and educational organizations in this country. 


     Both parties exchanged various international cooperation programs.
 
The representatives from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting also shared an overview of their faculty and proposed collaboration in summer semester programs, faculty-student exchange, international academic competitions, specialized reports, and cultural exchange activities.

         The delegation toured the UEF campus.

During the meeting, both parties expressed a mutual desire for long-term and sustainable collaboration to broaden educational opportunities for students from both countries. Multinational experiences were emphasized as the foundation and preparation for students to thrive and succeed in the era of globalization.
