UEF and Leeds Trinity University discuss practical knowledge enhancement for students

MARCH 4, UEF had a meeting and working session with the delegation from Leeds Trinity University (LTU) - the international collaborative partner. Both sides exchanged ideas on developing educational programs to maximize students’ potential.


UEF welcomed the representatives of LTU for a working session

 

Representatives from UEF were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President and Director of UEF International Institute; Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute; Mr. Hoang Tran Quang Duong, Head of International Academic Services; Mr. Vo Hong Son – Head off Business; Ms. Truong Phan Hoang Anh – Faculty member, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thanh – Academic Program Officer.

On behalf of LTU, there were Dr. Katie Lupton - International Training Director, Head of International Business and Ms. Georgina Ashley – International Cooperation Officer. 

During the meeting, both parties discussed the subject contents, and important considerations for students in the program, and emphasized the integration of more practical knowledge into the curriculum.

The two sides engaged in an open discussion about developing the academic program.  

 

Leeds Trinity University is currently re-evaluating its curriculum, and the new program is expected to be implemented in 2025. As LTU's learning system is being set up, students enrolled in the cooperative program will soon have access. 

In the afternoon, Dr. Katie Lupton attended and instructed third and fourth-year students studying the cooperative program. Additionally, she also worked with students on their scientific research projects.

MARCH 5, Dr. Katie Lupton had a working session and met with students of the first and second year program.

The meeting between UEF and LTU has opened up many new opportunities for students participating in international cooperative programs at UEF. Both universities will continue to implement and promote cooperation activities, providing an optimal environment for students' development in the future.
