UEF Discusses the International Semester Program with Chinese Culture University (Taiwan)

MARCH 2 - UEF welcomed representatives from Chinese Culture University (Taiwan) for a visit and working session regarding the semester abroad program. During the meeting, various topics were discussed, and potential collaborations were explored for future cooperation.

The representatives from Chinese Culture University included Mr. Cai Jialin - Assistant Principal and Director of the International Institute; Ms. Kong Xinyi - Deputy Head, International Exchange Center; and Ding Ruan Yueying, a student from the Faculty of Chinese Language.

On UEF’s behalf were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President and Director of UEF International Institute; Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan - Deputy Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures; Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute.


Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc shared his orientation of expanding UEF's semester abroad program

Commencing the meeting, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc introduced the international orientation of the academic program at UEF and expressed his hope to implement many cooperative activities with the Chinese Culture University in the future.

Mr. Cai Jialin expressed his desire to partner with UEF on multiple programs

Mr. Cai Jialin also shared his positive impression upon visiting UEF and expressed his desire for UEF to visit the Chinese Culture University in the near future.

With a focus on the International Semester, both parties discussed various programs for students to study in both Chinese and English. In the Chinese Language program, after the two universities sign an agreement, UEF will have the opportunity to send students to China to study Chinese language courses for a semester or even a year.

The International Institute will support students from other majors who wish to participate in the semester abroad at Chinese Culture University by offering three courses entirely in English.

The semester abroad in China is expected to be implemented soon

 

Building upon the initial discussions, the two universities will soon further discuss and promote the signing of cooperation agreements. With the common goal of enhancing the quality of education for students, this collaboration will serve as a foundation for implementing various international programs that bring global value to the learners.
