UEF signs MOU with Jeonbuk National University (South Korea)
JANUARY 24 - Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) organized an MOU signing ceremony with Jeonbuk National University (South Korea), promising to open up many international learning opportunities and culture exchange for students of the two universities.
On the UEF side, attending the ceremony were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President and Director, UEF International Institute, Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Director, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Linh - Deputy Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures.
On the partner side were Mr. Chul Gyu Song - Executive Vice-president for Research Affairs, Mr. Dong Heon Lee - Vice-president for Academic Affairs, and Mr. Sang Wook Oh - Chair of Department of Science Education.

The signing ceremony between UEF and its international partner was a great success
During the signing ceremony, the two universities learned more about their partners through an overview introduction. Jeonbuk National University is one of the national universities of South Korea, receiving attention and funds from the Government for talent development.

With its internationalization orientation, Jeonbuk shares several similarities with UEF in terms of training, especially in welcoming international students to participate in its academic year. It is known to be a multidisciplinary university that caters to the academic needs of international students from many countries. The partnership proposals center on faculty-student mobility programs, semester abroad, cultural exchange among students of the universities, etc.

Within the program framework, representatives expressed a desire for long-term collaboration, contributing to quality human resources development for both nations.
The MOU signing ceremony marked a significant milestone in the official partnership between UEF and Jeonbuk, providing students with a new international learning location and ample opportunities.
