UEF welcomes Italian Consul General in HCMC for visit and discuss collaboration opportunities

UEF, with its focus on integrating education, places great importance not only on developing partnership programs and extracurricular activities to enhance students' ability to integrate globally but also on furthering collaborative relations with international organizations. This can result in providing students with opportunities to gain exposure to diverse cultures, educational systems and enhance diplomatic ties between Vietnam and other nations.

JUNE 21 - UEF welcomed Mr. Enrico Padula – Consul General, Consulate General of Italy in HCMC to discuss potential collaboration opportunities.

Welcoming Mr. Enrico Padula were Dr. Nhan Cam Tri – Vice President, Board of Management; Dr. Ly Thien Trang – Vice President, Board of Management; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet – Director, UEF Spanish and Latin American Institute; Ms. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Director, UEF International Institute and Ms. Tran Thi My Phuong – Deputy Director, Center of Service-Learning.

To introduce UEF and the academic environment to Mr. Enrico Padula, Dr. Ly Thien Trang provided an overview of both HUTECH Education and UEF, which included presentations on the training program, detailed statistics on the number of faculty members and students, and the mission of UEF. Dr. Ly Thien Trang emphasized UEF's achievements and commitment to training high-quality human resources, with a focus on sustainable development to meet the practical needs of society and international integration.

Subsequently, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet introduced UEF's cultural activities and proposed some cultural cooperation initiatives that UEF intends to develop. These proposals aim to provide opportunities for cultural exchanges, strengthen ties between the two nations, and improve cultural understanding among communities.

Mr. Enrico Padula also shared his views and desires to expand and reinforce the cooperation relations between Italy and Vietnam in the field of education and research.

Following the presentations, the two parties held a discussion to exchange opinions and establish specific collaboration directions for the future.
