UEF works with the Consul General of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh city

FEBRUARY 1, UEF welcomed Mr. Chan Sorykan, the Consul General of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City, along with the consular delegation for a visit and working session. After the meeting, various opportunities for implementing international programs for students from Cambodia were discussed.
Joining Consul General Chan Sorykan on the visit to UEF were consular officials: Mr. Kith Sothearith, Mr. Kco Bunrith, and Mr. Sann Vantha.
On behalf of the Executive Board of The Vietnam - Asean Friendship Association were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Hong Xuan - President; Mr. Phan Hieu Nghia - General Secretary, and Ms. Pham Thuy My Ngan - Member.

Representatives from UEF were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President and Director of UEF International Institute; Dr. Tran Thanh Huyen - Dean, Faculty of International Relations; Mr. Huynh Quoc Phong - Director, Center of Corporate Partnerships; Mr. Huynh Tu Anh - Deputy Dean, Faculty of Marketing; and Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute.

The Consul General of Cambodia, Mr. Chan Sorykan, also expressed positive impressions upon visiting UEF. He hoped that international activities could be implemented in terms of education, providing opportunities for students to engage in cultural exchanges and obtain diverse experiences within the region and globally.

In this meeting, Dr. Tran Thanh Huyen reviewed the internship experiences of students from the Institute of International Education in Cambodia and highlighted numerous insightful lessons.
The information exchanged at the meeting will be the stepping stone for UEF to consider organising numerous educationally and culturally enriching activities in Cambodia for students in the future.
