UEF x Royal University of Phnom Penh (Cambodia): permanent international collaboration opportunity

SEPTEMBER 30 - UEF International Institute had the honour to work with representatives from Royal University of Phnom Penh (Cambodia). In this meeting, numerous opportunities for collaboration and development have been established. After this collaboration, UEFers are expected to have more interesting and practical international programs in Cambodia. 

UEF greeted Royal University of Phnom Penh (Cambodia) delegation

Welcoming and working with the partner delegation were Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung – Deputy Director, UEF International Institute; Ms. Chu Ngoc Anh Thu, Mr. Nguyen Dang Khang, Ms. Chung Ngoc Han – UEF International Institute Officers.  

Attending on behalf of Royal University of Phnom Penh were Prof. Dr. Plong Ton – Dean, Faculty of Linguistics; Mr. Srey Som Ol – Director, Administrative Office; Mr. Kong Su Phia, Mr. Phon Makara, Mr. Dam Su Khon, and Mr. Phon Supha Nita. 

Many exchange and international collaboration activities were discussed

Commencing the working session, both UEF and Royal University of Phnom Penh introduced their units. All information about curriculum, learning facilities and student quality was clarified. Particularly, UEF emphasized the essential of UEF International Institute and international exchange program across the globe. 

After listening to the sharing of Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung, the partner delegation was looking forward to inviting UEF faculty members to study, research, and participate in postgraduate programs in Cambodia. Royal University of Phnom Penh also proposed to send Cambodian students to UEF for bilingual study under the international exchange program.
 

International delegation visited UEF learning and training environment

After the sharing session, the representatives of Royal University of Phnom Penh visited the UEF campus. The guests were impressed by the modernity of the equipment and facilities that serve the learning and training process of students as well as classrooms fully equipped with 100% air-conditioning and full-time wifi system for students’ convenience at the university. UEF is also conveniently located right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City - a renowned and bustling city in Vietnam. This also piqued the partners’ interest.

After the working session, numerous opportunities for collaboration between two universities have been expanded

In general, UEF now has collaborated with a new international partner, promoting even more learning opportunities for students. Hopefully, both universities will soon implement international exchange programs for UEF and Royal University of Phnom Penh students, facilitating them to explore new experiences and contributing to strengthening the partnership between the two countries through educational activities.
