University of Pittsburgh's students were warmly welcomed at UEF

On 9^th May 2016, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance warmly welcomed students from University of Pittsburgh to join the eighth Academic Exchange program - Plus 3 whose topic is “development”.

Attending the ceremony are Dr. Ha Huu Phuoc – Director General of Representative Agency of Ministry of Education and Training, Assoc. Prof. Bui Xuan Lam – Vice Chairman of Board Director of UEF, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Giang – President of UEF, Prof. Brain Hogan – Head of the Pittsburgh delegates, students from both University, and faculty member of UEF.

Dr. Ha Huu Phuoc – Director General of Representative Agency of Ministry of Education and Training highly regarded the Plus 3 program.

Assoc. Prof. Bui Xuan Lam – Vice Chairman of Board Director of UEF made a welcome speech.

The Academic Exchange program - Plus 3 set to start

On 5^th May, University of Pittsburgh students begin to visit corporations and companies in Ho Chi Minh City such as Cat Lai Terminal of the Saigon Newport Corporation, the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP), the II – VI Vietnam Company, VinaCapital Foundation, Glass Egg Digital Media, etc… Besides attending culture and history classes, they also have chances to study about urban and rural planning development in Vietnam through field trips.
