UEF Representatives Participate in the program “Vietnam-India Meet in Education Sector”

APRIL 24, the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City organized the India-Vietnam Meet in Education Sector under the theme “InnovEdu: Training and Partnership”, with the aim of facilitating discussions, idea exchange, and collaboration between educational institutions and businesses in Vietnam and India in the fields of education and industry.
The program was hosted by the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City

On the UEF side, there was Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President and Director of the UEF International Institute.
On the side of the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, there was Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi – Consul General. The program also featured the presence of Mr. Satyam Roychowdhury – Chairman of Indian Education Commission, the Indian Chamber of Commercerepresentatives from HCMC Department of Education and Training, HCMC Department of Science and Technology, HCMC National University, Sister Nivedita University (Techno India Group), and Bangalore International Institute of Business Studies.
The educational collaboration between Vietnam and India has made remarkable progress, characterized by increased cooperation in academic exchanges, research programs, and cultural initiatives.

During the event, representatives from HCMC Department of Education and Training provided an overview of the strengths of Vietnamese higher education and potential collaborative avenues with India. Additionally, they also highlighted prospects for educational cooperation in information technology and engineering, as well as emerging trends and opportunities for joint initiatives, including training, internships, and mutual development between Vietnam and India.
Numerous topics related to training and the potential collaboration in education and various other fields were discussed

In the discussion session, the enhancement of educational collaboration between Vietnam and India; training and potential partnerships in the fields of AI, ML, chip design, and various other areas were also put on the table.

Within the framework of the program, UEF also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sister Nivedita University (Techno India Group) and Bangalore International Institute of Business Studies.

Building upon the valuable insights and new collaboration with universities of India, there is an optimistic outlook that numerous quality international activities for UEF students will soon be implemented.
