UEF to kick off New Academic Year for International Bachelor’s Programmes

Along with the bilingual program, the international bachelor’s degree program - “on-site studying abroad” is an outstanding feature of UEF, contributing to affirming its position on the global map. This year, with the cheerful atmosphere of welcoming freshmen, batch of 2022, students enrolling in the UK and US bachelor’s programs will attend a special academic year opening ceremony.

The New Academic Year Opening Ceremony of International Bachelor’s Programmes will take place on October 12 at Innovation Hall, floor 16, 276 Dien Bien Phu Campus.
 

To welcome the 2022-2023 academic year and students batch of 2022 studying the collaborative programs with the University of Gloucestershire, Leeds Trinity University (UK), and Keuka College (US), on this special occasion, the university as well as UEF International Institute will convey positive messages to students embarking on their new journey. This is also a good start to youth years ahead at UEF. 

The Ceremony will be joined by guests of honor, comprising Mr. Sam Wood – Deputy Consul General & Head of Trade and Investment, British Consulate General HCMC, Ms.  Ho Thi Kim Phuong – Trade Manager, British Consulate General HCMC, Ms. Natella Svistunova – Cultural Affairs Officer, U.S. Consulate General HCMC, Ms. Quach Thi My Ngoc – Senior Education Advisor, U.S. Consulate General HCMC, Mr. Ho Nhu Duyen – Deputy Director, Southern Center for Education and Training Development and representative of Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training, Mr. Stephen Marston – Vice-Chancellor, University of Gloucestershire, Ms. Dho'un Azahari – International Development Advisor (Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia), University of Gloucestershire, and industry partners’ representatives.

The Ceremony will praise 11 admission valedictorians, 13 freshmen achieving IELTS 6.0 overall or higher, of which 2 students achieved 7.5 and 8.0 band scores, 3 outstanding students with at least a GPA of 3.9, and will grant more than 150 entrance scholarships to successful applicants, totaling over 5 billion Vietnam dongs, and so forth.

Congratulations to freshmen on successfully enrolling in the university’s international bachelor’s programs. A new journey to accumulate precious experience and knowledge is waiting for you ahead.
