UEF, University of Wisconsin to run potential quality international programs

OCTOBER 4 - UEF organized a meeting with the University of Wiscosin, the U.S.A to discuss cooperation on arts and commerce fields as well as an official agreement in the future.

The meeting featured Dr. Jittapim Yamprai – International Admission Advisor & Internal Education Development Manager from the University of Wisconsin. Representing UEF was Dr. Phan Bao Giang – Executive Deputy Dean, Faculty of Marketing, Ms. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Dean, International Institute. Mr. Mai Thanh Son – Vice President, Ho Chi Minh City University College of Culture and Arts, Ms. Hong Diep – Deputy Director, Department of Customer Relationship Management and External Relations.

Two universities' representatives exchanged information about the training program

Upon watching a video about UEF’s overview, Dr. Jittapim Yamprai expressed his astonishment and compliments for its facilities and academic programs, adding that the two universities have similarities in majors, programs, and cooperation orientations.

Representatives of UEF and the University of Wisconsin discussed cooperation opportunities in domains  such as Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, English Language, Information Technology and E-commerce.

Both parties also expected a cooperation agreement to come in such fields as student exchanges, internships, staff and faculty exchanges, projects, research and workshops cooperation, long-term and short-term online co-teaching courses, and articulation programs.

UEF and the University of Wisconsin promised to organize many cooperation programs in the future

Dr. Jittapim Yamprai pointed out that 95% of the University of Wisconsin students are employed after graduation and nearly 60% before graduation. The university empowers students to choose their majors. Similar to UEF, the University of Wisconsin always open up opportunities for students to expand their expertise as well as attend double-degree programs. In addition, the university offers numerous scholarships for students who have outstanding performances in both academics and extra-curricular activities.

After the meeting, UEF and the University of Wisconsin promised to cooperate in launching many high-quality international programs for students. From that, UEF’s international partner network in the US is strengthened, accelerating its goal of internationalization.
