Working session with representatives from IPERC, Marquette University in Vietnam

OCTOBER 5 - After working with the University of Wisconsin - USA, Dayananda Saga University - India, the delegation of the Embassy of Italy, UEF continued to have an exchange and working session with the “International Partnership of Education Research and Communication” (IPERC) and Marquette University in Vietnam. 

From IPERC, the meeting had the presence of Ms. Dido Duan – Vice President. Ms. Quyen Ashley Tran – Business Development Manager represented Marquette University in Vietnam. Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President & Director, Ms. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Director, and lecturers from UEF International Institute. 

At the meeting, the parties shared their wishes and information about the cooperation, the study environment, and international exchange programs (transfer, study abroad, etc) being implemented at the two universities.

Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc showed his pleasure and expectation about this cooperation opportunity, adding that Marquette is a prestigious and high ranked university in the world. Therefore, this cooperation is a great chance for UEFers to access the quality education.

In addition, he expressed to the representative of IPERC, an international non-profit education organization in the US his desire to expand the cooperation network with universities in the US and Canada so that students can have a variety of choices to opt for higher education institutions.

Marquette, in turn, would stand ready to coordinate and intensify promotional activities on a far-reaching scale to UEF students and grant them scholarships that cover 50% of tuition fees on their transfer studies.

Furthermore, IPERC will support UEF to have more reliable partnerships with acclaimed universities in the US that offer economical costs.

The first meeting ended but will open further working sessions on promoting articulation programs for UEFers.
