APRIL 26 - At Tan Son Nhat International Airport, UEF saw another group of students off on their way to start their internship in Japan. The arrival of Le Nguyen Minh Anh and Tran Thi Hai Ngan to Japan brought the total of this batch’s UEF interns in Japan to 18.
Like every other time, UEF captured all the touching moments of students when they are about to leave their country homeland and be separated from their family. While looking at the two students, faculty members and their parents shared the same glowing eyes filled with both pride and sorrow.

With the aim to integrate education, UEF is constantly expanding international cooperation and exchange programs. Internships abroad are one of the effective ways that UEF utilizes to bring UEFers more various global knowledge and career development opportunities.
6 months at Marunuma/Kankoso Co., Ltd. will be a challenging experience for these students. However, this will also be a preparation for UEFers when they come back from the internship to easily grasp many beneficial career opportunities.
Besides their families, the two students also received good wishes farewell greeting and encouragement from Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngo Cao Cuong – Permanent Vice President, Board of Management; Mr. Huynh Quoc Phong – Director, Center of Corporate Partnerships, along with lecturers from the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures, and representatives of IFK – a partnership provider for Vietnamese students and Japanese enterprises.
Two UEFers starting their internship in Japan
As UEF prioritized learning through practice in their academic program, extracurricular activities, exchange programs, pathway studies and international internships are held consistently. Previously, UEF has partnered and signed cooperation agreements with Japanese universities to provide international learning opportunities for Japanese language students such as: Kobe International University (KIU), University of East Asia (UEA), University of Fukui, Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT), EHLE Institute, etc.
From early April until now, 18 students have been officially sent to Japan to intern at hotels and enterprises such as Senoumi Betsutei Umiusagi Hotel; Ishige Kai Bettei Kagiya Hotel; Hakone Pax Yoshino Hotel, Yuyu Pippu Hotel – Arao Co., Ltd., Tenryukaku Hotel – Giftland Joint Stock Company, etc.

In the coming time, UEF will continue to develop this model of learning and practice. UEFers should be ready with knowledge, skills, and language proficiency to seize the opportunity as they appear. Having advanced exposure to the international environment will increase job opportunities and serve as a solid momentum for the future.
