Closing the online study abroad program "Experience Chinese culture" with a lot of shared knowledge

After more than a week of experiencing the art and discovering Chinese culture through online sessions with Guangxi Minzu University, China, UEFers learnt numerous interesting lessons.

MAY 25 - In the afternoon, UEF held the Closing Ceremony of the online study abroad program "Experience Chinese culture" with Guangxi Minzu University representatives. The ceremony is for UEFers to reflect on their journey which is full of practical experience in the culture of an established country.
 

Summarizing the online study abroad program with experiences in Chinese culture and art

Attending the Closing Ceremony, on UEF's behalf, there was Mr. Do Quoc Anh – Vice Chairman, Board of Directors; Dr. Nhan Cam Tri - Vice President, Board of Management; Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than – Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures; Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan – Deputy Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures; Ms. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Director, UEF International Institute, and students participated in the course.

The event honorably featured the virtual presence of representatives from Guangxi Minzu University; Ms. Thoi Hieu Lan – Commissioner, the Standing Party Committee, Vice Presisdent; Mr. Lieu Dong Thanh – Secretary, the Party Committee of the International Education Academy; Ms. Chu Diem Tien – Director, the Institute of International Education; Mr. Ly Phuc Ninh, Deputy Chef, the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange; Mr. Tieu Hai Can - Deputy Secretary, the Party Committee of the International Education Academy. 
 

UEF teachers and students from UEF attended the Online Closing Ceremony with Guangxi Minzu University

The Closing Ceremony offers an opportunity for UEF lecturers and students to reflect on the students' practical activities and interesting experiences with established Chinese arts such as knotting, paper cutting, drawing, ink-wash painting, Tai Chi martial arts, etc. The program has worked wonders for UEFers’ expansion of knowledge and experience as well as the chance to exchange international cultures. UEFers having participated in the course have all received certificates of course completion from Guangxi Minzu University.

On behalf of UEF, Dr. Nhan Cam Tri expressed: “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Guangxi University for Nationalities for creating such an interesting and meaningful program. The "Experience Chinese Culture" program not only brings new knowledge but also broadens UEFers' perception of one of the world's richest cultures. Most importantly, UEFers had the opportunity to connect and interact with students from other universities around the world. Thanks to communication and exchange, students have learned and grown together. I hope that this experience will inspire students to explore more and actively support their Chinese language learning.”

UEFers gain more knowledge and skills about Chinese arts and culture

Ending a medium-length online studying abroad program, UEFers had sufficient time to experience and discover the beauty of Chinese culture and art. Hopefully, in the future, the course will continue to be implemented offline in a direct format so that students of the two schools can exchange, learn and experience in a more intuitive and vivid way.
