03/19/2024

March 19, UEF International Institute welcomed representatives of University of Insubria (Italy) for a working session aimed at diversifying international programs between the two institutions in the future. Since signing the MOU with University of Insubria in October 2023, UEF has opened up numerous cooperation and exchange opportunities, as well as strengthened international programs for students and faculty members.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Carlo Brambilla - Representative for Internationalization of Economics Department, University of Insubria. On the UEF side, there were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President and Director of UEF International Institute; and Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute.

UEF and University of Insubria discussed many new contents during their working session

At the meeting, the representatives of the Italian university offered UEF a number of international programs for both students and faculty members. In particular, the study abroad and articulation programs were discussed in depth. Moreover, the professor also sent detailed information about this program to UEF through designed publications. In addition, the partner also highlighted the master's program, aiming for UEF's faculty to pursue studies and research in Italy's international postgraduate environment.

Prof. Carlo Brambilla provided detailed information about the international programs being conducted by Insubria

Currently, UEF is actively promoting the international semester program, which was also carefully mentioned and discussed. This will possibly be the next international campus for UEFers to participate in the international semester. UEF International Institute furthered discussions regarding proposing student exchange and connection programs, which are outstanding activities of UEF and its longstanding partners around the world.

UEF proposed new ideas for the international student exchange program

Accordingly, UEF can send students to Insubria to exchange with international friends and lecturers through short-term studies, lasting for 1 or 2 weeks. Similarly, students from the partner university can also come to Vietnam to study with UEFers. The two parties will coordinate to create a dynamic and comfortable international learning environment for students. Above all, they will gain an abundance of new knowledge and interesting experiences.

The meeting concluded successfully, and the discussed contents will soon be implemented

The working session has paved the way for more opportunities for UEF students and faculty members to study and research in a new international environment. With the discussed and agreed-upon contents to be implemented, hopefully, UEFers will have a chance to experience the diversity of international programs at both UEF and University of Insubria in the future.
