In early April, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Linh -Deputy Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures at UEF, visited and worked with partner universities in South Korea. The contents of the cooperation program were discussed with the aim of implementing numerous high-quality activities for students.

During a meeting with representatives of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Linh discussed student exchange programs, short-term and long-term semesters abroad, and cultural experience activities for students. Information about student exchange and semesters abroad was also shared with representatives of Hanyang University.
Direct exchanges with universities provide UEF with the opportunity to expand its international environment, creating conditions for students to be exposed to, learn, and practice skills in a comprehensive way. In addition, students also have the opportunity to broaden their horizons and experience many interesting international cultural exchange activities.

At UEF, a variety of international exchange programs, student exchange programs, and semesters abroad in South Korea are organized for students. Students have previously participated in international exchanges at Keimyung University, Chungbuk University, and Busan University of Foreign Studies. In 2024, UEF will also implement a semester abroad for students at Tongmyong University.

Through international programs, students gain exposure to trending subjects and update useful knowledge for their current majors. They also have the opportunity to connect with international friends and explore cultures, histories, and people in different nations. This experience plays a significant role in the lives of overseas students, helping them practice adaptability and self-reliance.
After this productive visit, UEF hopes to establish a strong foundation for future collaboration with both Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and Hanyang University, leading to the development of numerous high-quality collaborative programs.
