MORE UEF STUDENTS SECURE INTERNATIONAL CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AT MAZDA HIROSHIMA, JAPAN.

AUGUST 26, continuing its series of initiatives connecting students with international career opportunities, UEF facilitated the participation of International Relations student Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huong in an employment program at Mazda Hiroshima (Japan).

The program is implemented through a partnership between UEF and Cocoro International Joint Stock Company, aiming to expand employment opportunities in Japan for students and alumni. This initiative reflects the university's commitment to strengthening ties with international enterprises, thereby enabling learners to access diverse career options within a global environment.

Through the program, candidates have the opportunity to experience a professional work environment in Japan while gaining insights into Japanese work processes, corporate culture, and professional etiquette before officially embarking on their careers.

For Ngoc Huong, participating in the program offers a valuable opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills acquired at UEF within an international work setting. In particular, a strong foundation in foreign languages, communication skills, adaptability, and experience in an international university environment equips young people with the essentials to confidently enter the global labor market.

UEF representatives offered advice and encouragement to students and their families before departure.

Previously, UEF had frequently connected students and alumni with work programs at Mazda Hiroshima. In May 2026, four graduates specializing in International Business, Business Administration, and Marketing participated in this program.

In addition to those joining the Mazda Hiroshima program, on August 29, UEF saw off another student heading to Japan for an internship. Hoang Ngoc Minh Yen, a Japanese Language major from the Class of 2023, secured an internship position at Niseko Grand Hotel—a renowned 3-star hot spring (onsen) hotel in Niseko Konbu Onsen Village, Hokkaido, Japan, distinguished by one of the region's largest outdoor mixed-gender hot spring baths (rotenburo).

The continued placement of candidates in work and internship programs demonstrates the expanding international career opportunities within UEF’s network. Beyond supporting students during their academic journey, the university focuses on creating pathways for UEFers to further develop their skills and pursue new opportunities after graduation.
