12/02/2020
On the afternoon of November 6th, UEF’s International Institute organized a field trip at Park Hyatt Saigon for UEF’s students in the UK Bachelor program to deepen their practical knowledge in real working environments affiliated with Gloucestershire University.

Taking this chance, the students have become more familiar with a 5-star hotel business management model thanks to interactions with
Park Hyatt Saigon's representatives.

Park Hyatt Saigon warmly welcomed the visitors from UEF

Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President of UEF, Director of International Institute, and Mr. John Rodger Andrewblyth - Lecturer at the International Institute accompanied UEF’s students during the field trip. It also included students of the 2019’s class
and the 2020's class leaders in Hospitality, Resort and Tourism Management - the University of Gloucestershire.

The UEF’s lecturers and students were warmly welcomed by Ms. Vi Nguyen - Assistant Learning Manager, Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel. The students eagerly asked numerous questions to learn more about operating a high-class hotel and resort with enthusiastic support from the hotel. Besides, Mr. John Rodger Andrewblyth also explained more relevant problems in English to help UEF’s students broaden their understanding with these practical examples.

Ms. Vi Nguyen was always ready to answer UEFers's questions about the operation model of multinational hotels with a bright smile

Reportedly, Park Hyatt Saigon belongs to Hyatt Hotels Corporation - the top 10 leading hotel management groups in the world. Visiting such a business as the Hyatt Group helps UEF's UK bachelor's students have a closer view of the multinational business model of the Hospitality, Resort, and Tourism industry, which strongly motivates UEF’s students to learn and research in this field.
