UEF Receives FIBAA Quality Seal For Four Additional Academic Programs

Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) continues to strengthen its quality assurance achievements with four additional academic programs receiving the FIBAA Quality Seal from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), Germany. UEF officially received the certificates at the organization’s headquarters in Bonn, Germany.

The newly accredited programs include three undergraduate programs - Korean Language, Chinese Language, Law - and one master’s program in English Language. The accreditation results were confirmed following the external evaluation conducted in March 2026.

This accreditation cycle applied FIBAA's newly updated standards for undergraduate and master's degree programs. The standards provide a comprehensive evaluation framework comprising five standards and 46 criteria, covering program objectives, admissions, program implementation, academic environment, and quality assurance conditions. Based on the evaluation against these criteria, the four programs clearly reflect key trends in contemporary higher education, including digital transformation, the application of artificial intelligence (AI), internationalization, interdisciplinarity, sustainable development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation at UEF, stated: “Receiving the FIBAA Quality Seal for three undergraduate programs and one master’s program under the new standards framework not only affirms the quality of UEF’s academic programs but also reflects the University’s ability to adapt and continuously improve its educational activities. With this achievement, UEF now has a total of 24 programs accredited under national and international quality assurance standards.”

The accreditation of four additional programs by FIBAA further strengthens UEF's position among internationally oriented universities in Vietnam while providing students with greater assurance of educational quality, enhanced international exposure, and stronger competitiveness in both the domestic and international job markets.

Previously, in 2025, UEF's undergraduate programs in English Language and Finance and Banking were awarded the FIBAA Quality Seal, bringing the total number of FIBAA-accredited programs at the University to six.

Today, UEF is among the private universities in Vietnam that have achieved institutional accreditation and have multiple academic programs evaluated against internationally recognized quality standards. In addition to FIBAA accreditation, the University is also a member of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), United States.
