Built in the late 19th century, the French Palace is an architectural masterpiece that harmoniously blends European classical style with that of old Saigon. For more than a century, the building has stood as both a witness to history and a lasting cultural symbol in the heart of the city.

At this place, UEF students had the opportunity to explore architectural and historical imprints preserved over centuries, gain deeper insights into the value of European heritage in the heart of the city, and engage with stories of cultural exchange. This experience helped them expand their knowledge and create meaningful memories along their learning journey.

Additionally, this year’s visit has been enriched with many new experiences through the application of modern digital technology. Students can enjoy the presentation through a combination of audio and vivid simulations that recreate the space, creating a more visual and engaging connection throughout their heritage exploration.

The visit helped broaden students’ understanding of European heritage and reinforced UEF’s commitment to providing international and culturally enriching learning experiences. It also offered UEFers an opportunity to cultivate their interest in culture and history, while affirming the spirit of international integration—a hallmark of UEF’s educational environment.
