What did freshmen ‘harvest’ in the orientation week?

To UEF freshmen, the orientation week is the important ‘initial step’ for the incoming studying and training period. Let us see what they have achieved after an blend-in week.

The “ultimate key” to fit in

Before becoming a member in UEF’s grand membership, freshmen were provided with all necessary information about rules, general regulations of the University such as: Being on time, wearing the identity card in the campus, queuing before the elevator, being polite – civilized in communication with friends, lecturers,… Those are also the beauty of school ethics that was established and promoted in many years in UEF community.

The academic regulations, remarks about student’s fee and benefits were all explained in details.

Students have a chance to study and join suitable clubs for them.

Especially, students were informed of the overall picture about the international education, short term courses, joint training program with the association of famous universities such as: Pittsburgh University (US), Bangkok University (Thailand),… At the same time, newcomers can discover their passion, hobbies with students’ movement – clubs, groups,…

The appearance of ‘phenomenal’ characters

Parallel with the informative parts revolving education and study environment, the appearance of famous characters stirred up the atmosphere.

Also in this orientation week, psychology experts and typical young people spend their time meeting and exchange many profound skills in study as well as in daily life. Some of them were: Psychology expert – Dr. To Nhi A, and Mr. Phan Thanh Nhien – the youngest Vietnamese to successful conquer the Everest.

Meeting and exchanging with famous characters in showbiz has surely engraved a remarkable memory in the heart and mind of 2017 freshmen.
