Meeting with University of Gloucestershire: More pathway programmes in UK to be implemented

JUNE 28 - The meeting with representatives from the University of Gloucestershire (UoG) opened up various articulations and 2023 Summer School for UEFers, a golden opportunity for them to study in an international environment.

Representatives of UoG were Mr. Wajid Ali – Regional Manager and Ms. Dho'un Azahari (Yong) – International Development Advisor. 

The meeting, on behalf of UEF, involved Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President & Director,  Ms. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Director, from UEF International Institute, Dr. Nguyen Ha Giang – Dean, Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Phan Bao Giang -  – Vice Dean, Faculty of Public Relations & Communication, and Gloucestershire Bachelor programme’s students.



Representatives from UoG and UEF discussed the articulation programmes and cooperative activities in the post-COViD period

Representatives from UoG and UEF International Institute discussed the articulation programmes and orientations toward reorganizing cultural-academic exchange activities, developing the exchange programmes for students and faculty members, and collaborating on scientific research. Accordingly, UoG and UEF will launch the Summer School for UEFers at the UoG campus in the 2023 summer semester.

Additionally, the articulation programmes for students from the Faculty of Information Technology, and Faculty of Public Relations and Communication were also brought to the table. In the coming 2022-23 academic year, UoG will collaborate with UEF International Institute and two stated Faculties to organise thematic reports and seminars on topics about Communication, Advertising, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, etc.

UoG-UEF Bachelor programme’s freshmen had a chance to meet UoG representatives, getting information to stay on top of scholarship programs, the UK learning environment, exchange programmes, and the 2023 Ssummer School.

Furthermore, students who wish to pursue their final 02 years in the UK were given informative instructions on the application procedure and preparation by both UEF and UoG’s representatives.






The meeting promised to bring students many useful academic activities learning

The International Institute’s representatives and leaders from the two Faculties showed UoG representatives around after the discussion. Hopefully, the collaboration between UEF and UoG will be an optimally solid foundation for various promising articulation programmes, paving the way for UEFers to expand their knowledge and enhance their insight into international settings.
