Training cooperation between UEF and the University of Gloucestershire (UK)

Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance has recently paid a visit to the University of Gloucestershire in The United Kingdom. After discussion, the representatives of two sides officially signed the cooperation agreement, marking a milestone in UEF’s internationalization process as well as in the relationship between the two universities.

According to the agreement, UEF and the University of Gloucestershire are going to cooperate with each other in offering bachelor’s degree for some of UEF’s education branches. At the same time, both also agreed to elevate the strategic cooperation in various fields such as Semester Abroad, Student Exchange, Faculty Exchange, and Postgraduate Education.

Furthermore, the University of Gloucestershire will support UEF in developing some of the training programs, promising to provide both sides with more opportunities for study, research, technology transfer, and other education activities.

The United Kingdom has always been known as one of the best countries for education, and the University of Gloucestershire (The UK) has been considered as a “paradise for studying” that attracts a large number of overseas students. That UEF and the University of Gloucestershire cooperate with each other is expected to provide more options for UEF’s students who desire to experience an international education: to study in Vietnam or in The United Kingdom. The degree will be accredited all over the world. Moreover, the students who have graduated from the University of Gloucestershire have greater opportunities to work in multinational companies.

The signing is an important step in making UEF become one of the leading universities in training high-quality human resources that possess professional specialization, foreign language proficiency, good skills in various fields, and outstanding ability to integrate. This would also help UEF to affirm its own position in the Vietnam university system.
