March 27, the external program accreditation for four study programs at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF), conducted in accordance with the standards of FIBAA, officially concluded.
FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) is a reputable European higher education accreditation agency headquartered in Germany, known for its rigorous evaluation standards, particularly in the fields of economics, business administration, law, and the social sciences and humanities.

The external quality accreditation review of the study programs has concluded,
marking another step forward in UEF’s journey toward international integration
This review focused on the following programs: Korean Language, Chinese Language, Law (undergraduate level), and English Language (master’s level). Throughout the process, activities were conducted online through a series of in-depth sessions, ensuring a comprehensive and objective evaluation.
Over the three working days, the FIBAA expert panel reviewed documentation and supporting evidence for each program, while also holding multiple online discussions with various stakeholder groups. These included the University’s leadership, program management, lecturers, students, alumni, and administrative staff, all of whom took part in in-depth interview sessions.

The comprehensive evaluation process took place across three consecutive days
A multi-faceted approach, based on a system of supporting evidence and in-depth interviews, enabled the expert panel to gain a comprehensive view of program structure, teaching methods, quality assurance activities, as well as the extent to which the programs meet learners’ practical needs.
At the closing session, representatives of FIBAA highly appreciated UEF’s thorough preparation as well as its open and cooperative spirit throughout the process. The candid and constructive exchanges between both sides were considered a key factor in ensuring the effectiveness of the review, while also clearly reflecting the University’s commitment to meeting international standards.

Representatives of FIBAA shared remarks at the closing session
On UEF’s side, University representatives also expressed their appreciation to the FIBAA expert panel for their valuable time, professionalism, and objectivity in conducting the accreditation, as well as for their insightful feedback. These inputs will serve as an important foundation for the continued improvement of the programs, enhancing their quality and strengthening their practical relevance in the context of international integration.
In line with its rigorous and objective accreditation procedures, FIBAA will send the official report to the University in the coming time. The report will highlight the strengths of the study programs while also providing specific recommendations for improvement with a long-term orientation. This will serve as a basis for the University and program management units to implement comprehensive enhancement measures, further consolidating and improving program quality toward sustainable development, international integration, and alignment with global standards.

The next milestone in UEF’s journey toward international education integration
The successful completion of this external quality accreditation review of study programs in accordance with FIBAA standards marks another step forward in UEF’s development strategy, aiming to build an internationally benchmarked education ecosystem. On that basis, UEF will continue to pursue and expand similar accreditation activities, thereby strengthening its position as an internationally oriented university and meeting the increasingly demanding requirements of the global labor market.
