UEF welcomes six new Chinese students enrolling in its international exchange program

SEPTEMBER 6 - Within the welcoming activities for international exchange students starting the 2023-2024 academic year at UEF, the university organized a greeting and orientation session for six students from Guangxi University for Nationalities, China.

Attending the session were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President, Board of Management, and Director of the UEF International Institute; Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan - Deputy Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures; Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute; Mr. Nguyen Ba Anh - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute; and Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute.

Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc, in welcoming international students, expressed hope that the students would rapidly acclimate and integrate into the new environment while studying at UEF. Furthermore, he aspired to see the students gain additional valuable knowledge and skills after completing the international semester, thereby becoming global citizens.

Additionally, Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung provided an overview of UEF to the students and expressed the hope that they would excel in the bilingual and international learning environment.

Six students from Guangxi University for Nationalities included: Xiang Yaling, Wang Danping, He Fang, Lu Dongying, Nong Juanjuan, and Pan Jueli.

The faculty members also provided students with preliminary information about the semester, study schedule, student accounts, communication channels, contact points, and support services among other things.
 

The Chinese students tried to introduce themselves in Vietnamese 


Especially, students made a great effort to introduce themselves in Vietnamese, demonstrating their friendliness and comfort in becoming a part of UEF.
 

We wish our Chinese students a memorable semester at UEF!


It is known that these six students will begin their studies today. Through the guidance and exchanges during the orientation, they will gain the confidence to adapt seamlessly to their new surroundings and have many intriguing experiences at UEF.
