10/12/2026
Last weekend, Dang Thi Thu Huong, a K2023 UEF student in the Chinese Language Program, officially began her journey to China to take part in the student exchange program to Nanguo Business College, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.  At the airport, the University’s representative and Thu Huong’s family sent her off and expressed their encouragement as well as best wishes for her learning journey abroad ahead.

Mr. Ly Quoc Cuong, Assistant Head of the Chinese Language program, represented UEF to see Huong off directly at the airport. The presence of the lecturer and Huong’s family created heartwarming moments and demonstrated the University’s care and support for its students throughout the learning and experiential journey abroad.

Before that, on October 10. UEF held an orientation session to provide Thu Huong with essential information about the exchange program, academic regulations, credit transfer policies, and some important points about living in China. This was a crucial preparation step to help the student adapt proactively to the new environment and develop an effective study plan.

Huong was provided with essential information before the trip

According to the plan, the exchange program will take place from October 2026 to January 2027. During this time, Thu Huong will have opportunities to gain exposure to the international educational environment, enhance Chinese proficiency, explore local culture, and expand her network with international students. New learning and living experiences are expected to help her develop adaptability, self-reliance, and confidence in the multicultural environment.

The encouragement and congratulations from lecturers and family strengthened Huong’s confidence to begin her learning journey abroad

Thu Huong’s exchange trip continued to illustrate UEF students’ opportunities for international learning and experiences through collaborative programs with partner universities. Not only equipping students with specialized knowledge, the University also focuses on creating opportunities for them to gain exposure to multicultural learning environments, accumulate practical experience, and develop their integration skills.

With thorough preparation, as well as wishes and encouragement from lecturers and her family, we hope Thu Huong will have a meaningful exchange semester and come back with outstanding achievements and unforgettable memories for her growing journey.
