Congratulations to the new batch of the UK Bachelor’s programme graduates with heartfelt messages

DECEMBER 8, the UEF International Institute ceremonially organized the Graduation Ceremony for students of the cooperation programme with Gloucestershire University and Leeds Trinity University, UK. Possessing accumulated knowledge and skills, they will go on the new journey with an internationally-valued Bachelor’s degree.

The ceremony was attended by Mr.  Le Thang Loi - Deputy Director of the Southern Center for Education and Training Development, Ministry of Education and Training, Prof. Mohammed Arif - Pro Vice-Chancellor of Leeds Trinity University (LTU), Mr. Pham Minh Huy - Ho Chi Minh City TESOL Association, Mr. Pham Cong Nhat - Tuoitre News, and Ms. Le Thanh Duyen - Deputy General Director, Audi Vietnam along with business representatives and alumni of international cooperation programmes. 

On behalf of UEF, there were the Board of Presidents, UEF International Institute, Leaders of departments, faculties as well as parents, and the fresh graduates receiving their degrees this session.

In the formal atmosphere, representing the Board of Presidents and UEF International Institute, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc delivered his congratulations to the new graduates of the collaborative programmes with UoG and LTU: “Welcome to the Graduation Ceremony of the UK Bachelor’s Programme 2023. I am delighted to congratulate all the graduating students today. This is an important day for celebrating your graduation, reflecting on the past, as well as preparing for the opportunities and obstacles ahead. UEF, UoG, and LTU take pride in each of you, and we wish you the best on your upcoming journey.”

Attending the graduation ceremony, Prof. Mohammed Arif - Pro Vice-Chancellor of LTU, also expressed his contentment since the students have grown up to embark on a new journey full of challenges. Today is a meaningful moment for them to extend their appreciation to all the special support from teachers, friends, families, and relatives, as well as to acknowledge their endeavors in achieving the graduation goals. 

Dr. Matthew Andrews, UoG Pro-Vice Chancellor sent his congratulatory message to students via the video: “I think it's an opportunity to look back on what you have done and celebrate your achievements, but it's also an opportunity to look to the future. It emphasizes those new opportunities, maybe further study, maybe it's going into work. I would encourage you to take pride in what you have done, and to think through what is yet to come in the future”.

Honoring valedictorians and granting Master’s Scholarships for the international collaborative programmes with UoG and LTU

During this memorable ceremony, the newly-minted bachelors officially held their prestigious international degrees. Among them, three outstanding students with excellent academic records and top GPAs were also honored. The international collaborative cooperation programme extended congratulations to the three valedictorians, including Nguyen Lam Hong Giao - valedictorian of International Business, Leeds Trinity University collaborative programme, Giang Ngoc Anh - valedictorian of Business and Marketing Management, University of Gloucestershire collaborative programme, and Le Quoc Vuong - valedictorian of English Language and Linguistics, University of Gloucestershire collaborative programme. In addition, UEF International Institute was bestowed master's scholarships by representatives of UoG and LTU.

Representing fresh graduates, Pham Anh Minh expressed her thrill as both her fellows and she successfully graduated. “We did it” was emphasized in her messages, in her appreciation to the parents and beloved people, which stimulated the emotional tribute within the moment of gratitude.

The graduation ceremony closed the “on-site studying abroad” journey in solidifying general knowledge at the UEF and opened broad horizons for new graduates of the international cooperation programme.
