UEF x UoG: Strategic partnership collaboration on launching international programmes

This morning, UEF had a meeting with the leaders of University of Gloucestershire (UoG) - UK to discuss a collaboration strategy for implementing international programmes in the upcoming academic year. On the same day, UoG representatives also met with students from international bachelor’s programmes.

Welcoming Dr. Matthew Andrews - UoG Pro Vice - Chancellor Governance and Student Affairs were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam - Vice Chairman, Board of Directors; Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President, Director, UEF International Institute; Dr. Ngo Minh Hai - Vice President, Board of Presidents; along with three Deputy Directors of the UEF International Institute included Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung, Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh and Mr. Nguyen Ba Anh.






 The session to finalize the cooperation programmes between UEF and UoG in the near future

At the session, representatives from both parties discussed ongoing cooperation programmes for the upcoming academic year, activities that could be deployed such as seminars, workshops, or co-teaching classes, etc., with the aim of providing top-notch and effective international programmes for students. Representatives from UEF and UoG also held a thorough conversation, addressing every aspect regarding the partnership plan.

In the evening of the same day, Dr. Matthew Andrews also met the students of the UEF international UoG Bachelor's programme. During the discussion, the students enthusiastically posed questions about opportunities for transferring to the UK, scholarships for studying abroad, as well as expressed their desire to have direct interactions with UoG students currently studying in the UK and the chance to visit the UoG campus.

In the new academic year, UEF continues to pursue cooperation programmes with UoG. After meetings, the international alliance strategy of both sides will have new progress. This is also the premise for the signing of the MOA between UEF and UoG on tomorrow - October 25th.
