Under the dedicated guidance of Mr. Pham Thai Hien - Head of Media Technology, the Vietnamese language class continued to be a memorable highlight for the Pitts student delegation. Although Vietnamese is generally considered not an easy language to approach, thanks to intuitive and lively teaching methods, along with enthusiastic support from UEFers, the American students gradually mastered listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in an impressive manner.
 

From simple greetings to confident self-introductions, the clear progress of the Pitts students demonstrated their serious learning spirit, rapid adaptability, and especially the value of companionship, creating a positive and friendly academic exchange atmosphere in the university lecture hall.
 

In the Vietnamese History and Culture class, Pitts students were led into the flow of national history through profound lectures by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thi Hong Ha - Dean of the Faculty of Public Relations and Communication . More than just receiving information, each lecture was a colorful journey of discovery about the legend of Lac Long Quan and Au Co, the traditional and modern cultural imprints, and Vietnam's distinctive tangible and intangible heritage system.

 

The next highlight of the journey was the experience of painting traditional conical hats (nón lá). This was an activity combining academics and practical experience, helping students both "hear" and "see," and "feel" Vietnamese culture in a vivid and intimate way.
 

After nearly a week of study, the classroom atmosphere between UEFers and the Pitts delegation became increasingly lively and interactive. Initial shyness gradually gave way to laughter, lively discussions, and natural connections in every activity.
  The Plus 3 - 2025 journey will continue with many new classes, diverse topics, and practical experience activities at businesses, exploring Vietnamese culture and history at many famous landmarks. With each day of learning and experiencing in Vietnam, the American student delegation gains more knowledge and strengthens bonds with new friends in Vietnam, together creating beautiful stories and countless unforgettable memories of their university youth.
