UEF - Diversifying education International exchange programs

Several institutions regularly conduct a variety of exchange events, study programs, and tour visits to foreign universities, implement training sessions with specialists, and lecturers with the aim of internationalizing education and providing. students with favorable conditions to practice.

01. UEFers “go abroad”

HCMC's Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) regularly organizes tours field trips, internships, and semesters abroad. In turn, students have multiple chances to experience learning in developed nations, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Korea, Japan, etc.

In 2022, UEF students "checked-in" and experienced at University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC); Chungbuk National University, Korea; Arizona State University, USA (ASU); Keimyung University, Korea; and Busan University, Korea; etc.

Previously, UEF has sent students to exchange programs at Kobe International University (Japan), Lillebaelt University (Denmark), SolBridge International Business School (Korea), SEGi University (Malaysia), Bangkok University (Thailand), Budapest Business School (Hungary), etc and others. In addition, Students had the opportunity to visit the Electricity of Thailand (EGAT), and the IKEA furnishings supermarket system in Thailand.

02. Welcome specialists and international students

UEF actively promotes chances for international students to experience learning at UEF, in addition to creating advantageous conditions for UEFers to study abroad. At the same time, UEF effortlessly maintains continual connections with international specialists to join in UEFs’ activities including teaching, exchanging, and sharing with students.

UEF sustains its global reach further and further with the international student delegations participate in semester abroad exchange, internship, and cultural exchange programs at Kobe International University, Japan (KIU); Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), Japan; CY Cergy Paris University, France; IAE DiJon School of Management - University of Burgundy, France; and Karlshochschule International University, Germany.
Broussail Guillaume, a student at IAE Paris Est University, France, who attended the exchange program at UEF, stated: "I decided to come to Vietnam and study at UEF for several reasons: first, UEF has cooperation with my university which allows me to study at UEF for 6 months; second, I had a chance to experience a diverse culture; third, I heard that Vietnamese are warm and sociable. Therefore, I opted for UEF to pursue my studies."

Students gain insight into various cultures and study in developed nations all over the world through international exchange programs. Besides, interacting with specialists and international students further enables students to polish their talents, broaden their global knowledge, and promote a holistic view.
