UEF signs MOU with Central University of Finance and Economics (China)

NOVEMBER 8 - With the vision to expand international cooperation orientating general development towards the key study programs, UEF officially signed a MOU with the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) - China. This agreement lays the foundation for high-quality international programs in the upcoming time.

CUFE representatives attending the signing ceremony were Prof. Liang Yong - Deputy Chairman, University of Council; Prof. Wang Hao - Deputy Director, International Cooperation Division; Prof. Liu Junyong - Secretary, Party Committee, School of Accountancy; Prof. Zhou Hua - Dean, School of Insurance; Prof. Lin Song - Dean, School of Business; Dr. Chen Zhen - Deputy Director, Students Affairs Division.

On behalf of UEF, there were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President and Director, UEF International Institute; Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan - Deputy Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures; Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute.

In the welcome speech, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc shared his participation in the Plenary Session of the Alliance for Economic and Management Education (AEME) hosted by the Central University of Finance and Economics of China. With the aim of internationalizing education and the competitive advantages in the education of economics and finance, UEF partook in the alliance and signed with CUFE, thereby providing exceptional programs and internationally recognized education.

At the event, Prof. Liang Yong also highlighted the distinctive features of CUFE and expressed hope for a long-lasting collaborative relationship, providing high-quality programs for learners.

CUFE is one of the top universities in China that is supported by the Ministry of Education (MOE), the Ministry of Finance and the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality. The university helps numerous students each year study abroad or exchange through government-sponsored scholarships and exchange programs.

Following the MOU signing ceremony, representatives of both universities also discussed collaboration details such as organizing seminars, exchanging educational materials, conducting scientific research, developing student exchange programs, etc.

With the signing and agreement on cooperation information, UEF and CUFE will implement several high-quality programs in the near future, especially in the disciplines of economics and finance, to help students access advanced education and broaden their understanding of the global economy.
