UEF signs MOU with Kettering University (USA)

FEBRUARY 17 - Given the successful Signing between UEF and Kettering University, UEF now not only expands its international enlargement but paves the way for students and faculty members to access the top-ranked education in the USA. UEF and Kettering University both reach a consensus on the undergraduate program as well as shared visions on human resources development, integration, and innovation for years to come.
 The virtual signing took place successfully.
 
The Signing brought together Mr. Do Quoc Anh – Vice Chairman of Board of Trustees, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President & Director of the UEF International Institute, Dr. Ly Thien Trang – Vice President of the University, Ms. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Director of the UEF International Institute, Mr. Ly Dan Thanh - Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Mr. Phan Bao Giang - Vice Dean of Faculty of Public Relations & Communication, Ms. Ha Thi Thuy - Vice Dean of Faculty of Finance and Commerce, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Linh - Vice Dean of Faculty of Linguistics & International Cultures, Ms. Nguyen Vuong Hoai Thao - Vice Dean of Faculty of Hospitality & Tourism Management, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen - Vice Dean of Faculty of English, Ms. Duong My Pham - Vice Dean of Faculty of English, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan - Vice Dean of Faculty of Information Technology, Ms. Nguyen Thai Ha - Vice Dean of Faculty of Economics, and foreign faculty members of the UEF International Institute.

In addition, Dr. James Zhang - Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, Dr. Kathryn Svinarich - Associate Provost and Dean of the College of Sciences and Liberal Arts Dr. Scott Reeve - Dean of Kettering Graduate School and Research, Dr. Haseeb Ahmed -Interim Dean of School of Management, Dr. Craign Hoff - Dean of College of Engineering and Ms. Laura Mazzeo Allen - Director of the Office of International Programs, represented Kettering University.

Representatives from UEF and Kettering University delivered the opening remarks by introducing the two universities and had a chance to take a virtual tour of each university through video streaming to learn more about their partners.
UEF Vice Presidents expressed their thoughts about Kettering.
 


With the goal of becoming an international-standard university, UEF always seizes the chance to expand relationships and cooperation in various fields. 
 

Thanks to the partnership with Kettering University, UEF has an opportunity to access the worldwide prestigious program, which enables UEF to build and enhance its program while also providing an excellent learning environment for UEFers to develop comprehensively. In addition, Kettering will support UEF in the international articulation program.

Representatives from both parties signed the MOU.
 

Kettering University is a private STEM-focused university in Michigan. Students are not only equipped with hands-on experience but also able to participate in the school's highly regarded Co-op program (spend half a year working full-time to gain experience). Therefore, Kettering has a large number of graduates entering the workforce.

After discussion, representatives from UEF and Kettering successfully signed the MOU, officially forming an overseas sustainable partnership and bringing UEF closer to its internationalisation goal.
