UEF signs MOUs with 27 Indonesian universities, expanding global network

IN SEPTEMBER, UEF expanded its path of educational internationalization with an important milestone in Indonesia. The mission, led by Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc, Vice President of UEF, together with leaders of other units, took place successfully in Jakarta and resulted in the signing of MOUs with 27 prestigious universities.
 
This event let UEF expand its network of strategic international partnerships, forming a solid base for sustainable academic collaboration and reinforcing its commitment to bringing UEF students and lecturers closer to an international-standard learning environment.
 

Broaden partnerships, expand global learning opportunities

At the signing ceremony, UEF and Indonesian universities agreed to carry out many key collaborative activities: developing joint academic programs, innovating teaching methods, exchanging students, lecturers, and researchers, collaborating on research and publications, organizing conferences and seminars, launching double-degree programs, arranging short-term study tours, promoting community service, and offering international internship opportunities.

By signing simultaneously with 27 universities, UEF has reaffirmed its standing as one of Vietnam's universities with a broad international collaboration network that brings real value to learners.

 UEF expands its international network in Indonesia

As part of the trip, the UEF leadership delegation visited and held a meeting at Perbanas Institute – a long-standing strategic partner and also the current host institution for UEF students participating in exchange and internship programs. 

During the visit, UEF leaders expressed encouragement and motivation to the students, wishing them outstanding achievements in their internships. Additionally, the UEF delegation with the Perbanas representative also discussed new collaborative orientations, promising to offer more diverse academic and career opportunities for both universities.

Before visiting Indonesia, UEF leaders had carried out various working trips to South Korea, Japan, and China to sign cooperation agreements, expand the university’s partner network, as well as visit students participating in exchange and internship programs. These activities demonstrate UEF’s strong commitment to providing a comprehensive internationalized learning environment, linking theory with practical experience.

 

Closing the working trip in Indonesia, UEF’s list of international partners has been further extended. From this cooperative foundation,  UEF students and faculty members will have more opportunities for high-quality study, research, and international experiences in the near future, contributing to the development of a dynamic and globally integrated academic community.
