UEF works with representatives from Ivey Business School and 369 Global (Canada)

MARCH 21, UEF welcomed the Vice President of Ivey Business School along with representatives from 369 Global, a leading vocational training and human resource development institution in Canada, for discussions and promotion of future collaboration in the fields of tourism, restaurants, and hotels.

  
The meeting between the parties opened up opportunities for signing cooperation agreements in the near future
 

Representing Ivey Business School was Mr. Wazeer Jalal, Vice President and Executive Vice President of 369 Global. From 369 Global, there are also Mr. Sameh Taffish - Team Product Leader, Mr. Binny Abraham - Senior Vice President, and Mr. Damian Baker - Finance Manager.

Representatives from UEF were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President and Director of the International Institute; Dr. Ngo Minh Hai - Vice President; Mr. Nguyen Viet Thuy - Deputy Dean, Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management; Ms. Nguyen Vuong Hoai Thao - Deputy Dean, Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management; and Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Director, International Institute.

At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Hong Nhung presented information about UEF to the partner delegation. The issue of internships for students in the tourism - restaurant - hotel industry was also discussed if the two parties reach a cooperation agreement.

The information regarding international cooperation programs and international internships were discussed and exchanged during the meeting


Additionally, representatives from 369 Global also shared a part of the "Discovering Emerging Markets" project at Ivey Business School in Canada, aimed at exploring and developing vocational training in the tourism - restaurant - hotel industry.

Through collaborating with UEF, both parties can elevate the quality of vocational training for students, helping them achieve international professional standards in the fields of tourism and hotel management. The working session also reached an agreement to proceed with signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the near future.

Representatives from Ivey Business School and 369 Global also paid a visit to the practical area of the UEF Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, along with other dynamic learning spaces at the university.

Based on the information exchanged, the tourism - restaurant - hotel industry at UEF will expand opportunities for international internships and enhance the quality of education as both parties move towards signing and implementing various collaborative initiatives.
