Two UEFers awarded scholarships to join the International Summer Camp in South Korea
As participants in the international summer camp, UEFers have the opportunity to learn basic Korean, explore academic knowledge in various departments, and experience Korean culture in an immersive way through hands-on activities, visits to famous landmarks, and cultural exchanges with local students.
Joining the UEFers on this trip is Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President. During the visit, he also held a working session with representatives from Wonkwang Health Science University to promote upcoming strategic cooperation plans. This continues the strong and sustainable partnership between the two institutions, which have previously engaged in multiple visits, meetings, and collaborative initiatives.
The visit by the UEF representative was intended to foster new collaborative initiatives with Wonkwang Health Science University
This international summer camp offers UEFers a valuable opportunity to enhance their language proficiency, gain diverse academic insights, and develop essential life skills in a global environment. It also contributes to shaping a global mindset and equipping students with the confidence and adaptability needed to succeed in today’s era of globalization.
Since 2018, UEF has established a partnership with Wonkwang Health Science University. This private institution is a member of the Wonkwang Foundation, a multidisciplinary Korean conglomerate operating in various sectors including education, welfare, healthcare, and industry. Founded in 1976 and located in Iksan, South Korea, Wonkwang Health Science University currently offers programs in five main areas: Health and Science, Health and Welfare, Tourism and Hospitality, Practical Arts, and Nursing. Over the past four decades, the university has operated with the mission of creating meaningful change in the field of human health.
The ongoing collaborative activities have strengthened the relationship between the two universities, elevating it to a new level and diversifying the scope of international collaboration. With an ever-expanding global network of partners, UEFers now enjoy greater access to academic exchange opportunities worldwide. In particular, students can look forward to even more chances for study and hands-on internships in South Korea in the near future.
