UEFers and Korean students: A chance to meet and exchange culture

JULY 20 - Faculty of International Languages and Cultures welcomed a delegation of Korean students from Dong Seo University to UEF. The students shared about culture and entrepreneurship in a cordial atmosphere.

Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Linh - Deputy Dean, Faculty of Languages and International  Cultures welcomed Professor Kwak Jun Sik - Director at the IPP Project, Dong Seo University and Korean students during the meeting and working session.

At the meeting, Korean students were divided into groups, combined with UEFers to conduct business surveys of enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City.

The students learn about cultures of the two countries and discussed the entrepreneurial projects at the meeting session. Thereby, UEFers can hone their Korean communication skills, teamwork skills, data processing skills, grasping the real situation, etc.

JULY 19, the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures met representatives of Dong Seo University and Ms. Le Thi An Thu - CEO of Coviko. There are various of mobility programs, 2+2, short-term immersion program for Vietnamese students, especially UEFers. Hopefully, in the coming academic year, there will be additional activities to strengthen the pond between the two units. UEF also tries to develop programs for Korean students to participate.

The Korean Language Department consecutively organized programs and activities for UEF students to exchange and learn about the culture of the land of Kimchi in order to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea.

Hopefully, the meeting between UEFers and Dong Seo University students will help tighten the partnership between the two universities in particular, and between Vietnam and Korea in general.
