US Consulate General in HCMC’s Representative Shares International Relations Insights with UEFers

MARCH 20, UEF welcomed Ms. Yasmeen Hibrawi, Political Officer of the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, for a working session and exchange with the university's students. During this session, UEFers had the opportunity to gain deep insights into international relations from the Officer.

From UEF, representatives were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc -  Vice President and Director of International Institute; Ms. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute; and Mr. Alexander Parini, Faculty of International Relations.

Information about the international collaborative programs was discussed


Commencing the meeting, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc delivered a welcome speech to Ms. Yasmeen Hibrawi and highlighted the university's international collaborative programs with universities in the United States. Activities related to international cooperation and co-teaching classes were also shared during the session.

Ms. Yasmeen Hibrawi also engaged in a discussion and exchange session with students from the Faculty of International Relations on topics related to migration issues such as the global migration crisis in 2015, the 1951 Refugee Convention, etc.
