A deeply meaningful event​

 

The event was honored by the presence of: Dr. Nhan Cam Tri – Vice President of UEF, Mr. Bui Quang Dong - Director of the Department of Student Services, Ms. Tran Ngoc Diem Minh,  Deputy Head of the Student Affairs Office, Mr. Nguyen Huynh Sinh – Deputy Director of the Department of Student Services. Ms. Tran Thi My Phuong - Head of the Center of Service-Learning. Also attending were representatives from the sponsor, Kambria Vietnam, and other coordinating units. The event served as a gentle yet profound reminder of family love—a seemingly simple concept but one that forms the foundation for every individual’s development. With the presence of multi-generational families, including children, elderly participants, and UEF students, the festival became a bridge connecting the past and present, memories and future journeys. Every activity within the program carried a unique message. Among them, the short film competition “Time Station – Memory Keeper” offered a platform for young people to listen to the life stories of their grandparents. Genuine emotions were encapsulated in every moving frame.
  In addition, scholarships were awarded to children being raised by their grandparents—a small gesture that carried deep meaning, symbolizing the community’s extended hand in nurturing the next generation. Gifts presented to three-generation families served as a warm acknowledgment of their meaningful presence and a testament to the shared commitment to preserving and enhancing family values.

 

Moreover, Community Day became a platform for bonding through practical experiences such as health check-ups, first aid training sessions, and dozens of interactive booths. Every element was thoughtfully designed with one goal: to create a space where all generations of a family could come together, participate, and understand each other more deeply.

The true value of Community Day didn’t lie in its scale or excitement, but in its profound humanity. It rekindled memories and reconnected the invisible thread between grandparents, parents, and children. It was a place where the youth listened to stories of the past, the elderly found joy in sharing, and everyone realized that genuine love often comes from a simple glance, a gentle touch, or a moment of heartfelt listening.

With meticulous organization and heartfelt dedication, UEF reaffirmed its pioneering role in promoting community values. The university not only imparts knowledge but also nurtures emotion and connects people with one another.

“Community Day – Connecting Generations 2025” concluded with smiles, sparkling eyes full of joy, and emotion. More than just an event, it marked the beginning of a new journey—a journey of hearts that know how to love, to connect, and to cherish every family moment.
