UEF signs MOU with FAITH Colleges, strengthening Vietnam – Philippines cultural and academic bonds

Educational institutions around the world are forming increasingly strong bonds, establishing close partnerships to promote multifaceted growth. In that spirit, UEF has continuously expanded its network of global strategic partners, advancing the goal of internationalizing education.

AUGUST 20, UEF officially signed an agreement to collaborate with First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities (FAITH Colleges), Philippines. This collaboration opens many opportunities for learning, research, and cultural exchanges for the students and lecturers of both universities.

UEF has added a new prestigious international partner, fostering opportunities for learning and internships for students in the Philippines.

Representing UEF at the MOU signing ceremony were Dr. Nhan Cam Tri - Vice President, Dr. Ly Dan Thanh - Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. Geogre Majo - Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Dr. Huynh Nhut Nghia - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Ms. Huynh Tu Anh - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Marketing, Ms. Ha Le Thu Hoai - Deputy Director of Project Design Education Center.

Representing FAITH Colleges were: Mr. Emmanuel S. Sator - Senior Vice President for Administration, Dr. Lalaine V. Manalo - Senior Vice President for Academics and Research, Dr. Gelyn R. Acar - Director Quality Assurance, Dr. Vivian B. Titular - Director Research and Development Office with Heads of other subordinate faculties and member universities.

During the working session, both parties provided an overview of their growth history, areas of expertise, cultural exchange activities, and development plans for the future. UEF and FAITH Colleges identified many similarities, particularly in the fields of education, research, and student and faculty exchanges.

After the discussion, the two universities agreed to officially sign a collaboration agreement, becoming regional strategic partners. This event laid the foundation for initiating a series of core programs, including student and faculty exchanges, scientific workshops and academic seminars, training courses to enhance skills, research and technological development, entrepreneurship and innovation activities, as well as internship programs and international cultural exchanges.

FAITH Colleges is known as one of the prestigious private educational institutions in the South Luzon region, offering multidisciplinary training in fields such as technology, business, humanities, arts, and medicine. The institution focuses on providing international-quality education, fostering creativity, research, and developing leadership skills for students. With an extensive network of collaborations with many universities and international organizations, FAITH Colleges has become an academic hub for students from both the Philippines and abroad.

The partnership between UEF and FAITH Colleges is expected to introduce a range of new international programs in the near future, contributing to the creation of a modern, multicultural, and globally integrated learning environment for students of both universities.
