Admission Counseling Day 2022: Applicants “reveal” UEF as their first choice

As soon as the registration time for university choices was announced, 2K4ers were advised carefully to gather more detailed information and career orientation by counselors from various universities.

On Admission Counseling Day 2022 held on July 24, 2022, counseling stalls of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics - Finance (UEF) received a lot of attention from applicants and parents. This event is jointly organized by Tuoi Tre News, Higher Education Department (Ministry of Education and Training - MOET), Directorate of Vocational Education (Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs), and units involved. Appealing Comic style and valuable information in the critical period

Among over 100 counseling booths of different higher education institutions in HCM City, UEF was outstanding with its signature of red and white color. It was the adorable Comic-style illustrations and Gen Z’s “trendy” slang words that “retained” many 2K4ers. Especially, the presence of “Nọng Ruồi” – the two main characters in the Zalo Sticker set which UEF had released recently, made the counseling stall more alluring. Hence, applicants could easily find the university's location at stalls 129, 130, 131, and 132.

UEF lecturers were willing to answer all applicants’ queries. The majority of applicants and parents paid attention to the learning environment, bilingual and international programs, application methods in 2022, how to register university choices, scholarships, tuition fees, job opportunities, etc.

Those would be the essential criteria for 2K4ers to register their university choices. Applicants and parents would rely on both objective and subjective factors to choose a suitable university. Therefore, the dedication of UEF counseling team contributed to helping 2K4ers make the right decision.

Applicant Chau Hue Man had studied carefully about her chosen major. She said: “I enrolled on the major of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at UEF through high school transcript admission according to the total average score of 3 semesters. When applying for admission via the Admission portal of MOET, I will choose this university as my first choice. I am impressed by the enthusiasm of lecturers, the learning environment, and diverse majors at UEF.”

Applicant Nguyen Khoi Nguyen from Ta Quang Buu High School (District 8, HCM City) stated that: “Today, I am present here for further information about UEF as well as its tuition fees. I applied for admission by means of high school transcript and my chosen major is Finance - Banking. In my opinion, as an international university with a wide business corporation map, UEF does offer me opportunities for my future career. UEF will be my top choice because I have taken an interest in this university for a long time”.

Many other applicants express their desire for enrolling in UEF

Despite not having applied for admission to UEF before, applicant Nguyen Gia Bao (District 9, HCM City) also showed an interest after getting counseling guidance: “Today I am here to seek more details about the major of Public Relations and I am considering applying for admission to UEF by means of high school transcript admission according to the total average score of 3 semesters. I feel impressed by UEF’s favorable learning environment which may provide me with many opportunities to develop my chosen major.”

Coming from Le Quy Don High School (District 4, HCM City), applicant Nguyen Anh Khoa confided: “My purpose for being at UEF stalls is to gain information about my favorite majors - Marketing and International Business. If opting for UEF, I will enroll via the 2022 National High School Graduation Examination results. Not only do UEF lecturers give advice about my chosen majors based on my interests, but also introduce me to several intriguing new directions. Their enthusiasm impresses me a lot.”

Applicant Nguyen Ngoc Tu Anh (Binh Chanh district, HCM City) expressed: “I am present here for further details about the International Institute of UEF. I want to register for admission by results of the 2021 capacity assessment examination and 12th-grade transcripts according to 3-subject composite scores. What impresses me most at UEF is lecturers’ dedication, its quality programs and many helpful activities that help students study as well as achieving their dreams.”

Applicant Tu Anh was filled with excitement after discovering the International Institute

Bui Xuan Nam (Thu Duc City, HCM City) who came to UEF to study the Information Technology major said that he would apply for admission through the 2022 National High School Graduation Examination results. “What impresses me at UEF is approachable lecturers who enthusiastically introduce me to scholarship policies and study programs for my major” - he added.
