UEF-ers visits Institute of Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF)

On March 26th, students of International Relations has organized a field trip to IDECAF, which helps students to approach and acquire more knowledge about the French culture and education system.

The trip starts off with sightseeing the art gallery where displays artworks of students from photography courses at IDECAF. The next location is IDECAF theater stage. UEF-ers can experience the feeling of standing on stage and learn about the process of building a show to be in the artists’ shoes.




UEF-ers have got fascinating experiences about French culture at IDECAF

IDECAF library is the highlighted revenue at this field trip with its modern and logical design. It is occupied with books and movies for French lovers. Students are not only excited about the well-designed comics but also other documents relevant to their major such as history, politics, culture and religion.

The final spot is IDECAF conference room where students are introduced with the historical context of cultural exchange between Vietnam and France as well as the role of IDECAF in cultural diplomacy between the two countries. With presentations from Mr. Nguyen Trong Duy - Assistant Director and Ms. Claire Mahéo - Project Specialist, UEF-ers have gained more knowledge about diplomacy and cultural networking of France in a foreign country.

IDECAF representatives share a lot of information about scholarships and working opportunities

The most attractive part of the field trip is that students are provided with some scholarships studying abroad in France from Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Han - the Director of HCMC Campus France. Students can both take the chances to broaden their horizon for academic and studying overseas purposes.
