UEF kicks off new semester abroad at University Malaysia Sarawak

The semester abroad program at the University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) for UEF students has officially kicked off to enhance international exchange and study.
 

This semester is scheduled to begin on September 18 and end on October 17, 2023. With this journey abroad, UEFers will have numerous exciting experiences and accumulate a lot of essential knowledge from Malaysia, a multicultural country.

UNIMAS is a renowned university in Malaysia and also a strategic partner of UEF since 2022. Established in 1992, UNIMAS has trained generations of students around the world. Currently, this university has over 15,000 students studying from more than 50 countries, 27 Faculties - Centers - Institutes affiliated with diverse fields such as social sciences and humanities, IT, research science, technology, communication, etc., all together with more than 800 staff - faculty members and more than 90 training programs. Those are outstanding numbers with regard to UNIMAS. 

Community orientation is another distinguishing feature of University Malaysia Sarawak. In addition to the specialized theoretical learning process, this university also emphasizes networking and community engagement activities to enrich students' practical experience. This is also similar compared to many activities in UEF.

Participating in this semester abroad, UEFers will have the opportunity to learn in Malaysia's modern and high-quality educational environment. As UNIMAS has a large number of international students from all over the world, UEF students can socialize and connect with new friends not only from Malaysia but also from other countries. By engaging in these activities, not only can students develop their English communication skills, they can improve their self-study and teamwork abilities.

Furthermore, as part of this program, you will have the opportunity to gain practical training at local firms, experience local culture, and visit Malaysian tourist attractions. At the end of a month of studying in an international environment, students will be awarded a certificate of completion of the semester abroad program issued by UNIMAS and UEF.

With a cost of 17 million VND, students are guaranteed the following expenses: registration fee and English tuition fee according to the program, accommodation expenses (hotels arranged by UNIMAS partners), Welcome and Farewell party, expenses for visiting and participating in cultural exchanges in Malaysia, health insurance, application fee.
