UEF welcomes Binh Phuoc students to visit and learn about international programs

AUGUST 15 - UEF International Institute extended a warm welcome to students from Binh Phuoc province, aiming to provide them an early access to the university setting and initially explore the international programs.

The event involved the representatives from UEF International Institute, including Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President & Director, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Quynh – Assistant Director, Mr. Hoang Tran Quang Duong – Academic Services Manager, and Mr. David Maher – Faculty member.

Ms. Mai Thi Phuong, teacher of Australia International English Center, was the representative and leader of the Binh Phuoc delegation.

The event took place successfully with many interesting activities

The event took place with impressive performances including pop music and art polishing. During the event, the students showcased their vitality of youth with amazing performances, including singing and freestyle football.

Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc gave a welcome speech to the students and shared his memories of Binh Phuoc province. Additionally, He also wished them a wonderful tour to UEF.

Impressive performances by students

Mr. Hoang Tran Quang Duong gave students detailed information about UEF international programs, including UK bachelor’s program and US bachelor’s program. The next phase was interactive, requiring the students to respond to questions in order to organize the knowledge they had previously provided.

Students gain information and interacted with the foreign lecturer.

As a bilingual training environment, English is an indispensable factor, therefore Mr. David Maher organized some activities to help students practice their foreign language skills.

Besides, the clubs of the International Institute were also introduced to students to visualize the picture of students' extracurricular activities.

“I am very happy to be warmly welcomed by UEF. After listening to the sharing from the teachers, I am impressed with the joint programs and I think this is my future decision”, said Nguyen Thi Thu Hong - Hung Vuong High School.

Truong Ngoc Thoai Anh – Tan Binh Secondary School also expressed: “I am very excited to experience the international university environment like UEF and very happy to talk to foreign teachers and learn a lot of information about clubs. The international programs of UEF have made a strong impression on me. If given the opportunity, I would like to enroll in this program."

Students paid a visit to UEF’s study and entertainment areas

After exploring and visiting UEF, the students had interesting experiences in the international university environment. Each team member also had more information about current trending programs, which will be the basis for them to start making a suitable study plan, as well as setting goals for appropriate fields and universities in the future.
