UEF welcomes delegates from Ming Chi University of Technology

JUNE 26 - UEF welcomed delegates and students from Ming Chi University of Technology in Taiwan (MCUT) to study and visit for a week as a part of the "International Summer Camp in Viet Nam 2023" exchange program. This provides an opportunity for students from both universities to learn about Vietnamese culture, history, and people while facilitating academic exchange.
 




UEF warmly welcomed the students from MCUT coming to visit and study

On UEF’s behalf were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President, Board of Management, Director, UEF International Institute; Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh – Deputy Director, UEF International Institute; Mr. Nguyen Ba Anh – Deputy Director, UEF International Institute together with faculty members of UEF International Institute and students.
 
The event brought together Ms. Kelly Chen – Associate Professor and Director of IMBA Program; Mr. Do Hai Dung – Assistant Professor of IMBA Program and students from MCUT.

Welcoming the delegation, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc emphasized the partnership between UEF and MCUT. The universities have implemented international programs for students since signing the MOU. The "International Summer Camp in Viet Nam 2023" program further promoted the partnership between the two sides.
 









MCUT students were elated at greeting activities
 
As a MCUT’s representative, Ms. Kelly Chen shared some highlights of the university. Accordingly, MCUT is known as one of the top technology universities in Taiwan. Currently, all of its faculty are approved by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and other International Education certificates. Furthermore, MCUT’s education system is in accordance with international standards.
 




Many interesting activities are waiting for students to enjoy
 
The organiser arranged for MCUT students to introduce themselves and play games with UEFers on the first day, in order to help them acclimatise to the UEF environment.
 





UEFers picked up MCUT students at the airport and had lunch together
 
In the upcoming activities, MCUT students and UEFers will exchange Vietnamese and Taiwanese culture and visit well-known places in HCMC to gain new historical and cultural insights.

 





A dinner party was held for the students from both universities to get to know each other

This activity offers UEF students the chance to enhance their foreign language skills and share Vietnamese culture, aligning with the university's goal of global education. It also provides networking opportunities with students from other countries and promotes collaboration and growth towards global citizenship.
