Educational cooperation agreement with EHLE Institute

MAY 24 – UEF successfully signed the MOU with EHLE Institute, viewing to develop undergraduate programs with novel pedagogies and up-to-date curriculum frameworks.

The Signing featured the presence of UEF representatives, including Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President & Director, Ms. Huynh Tu Anh – Deputy Director, Mr. Nguyen Dang Khang – Coordinator, from UEF International Institute; Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than – Dean, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan – Vice Dean, and Mr. Hoang Vu Duc – Faculty member, from the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures. On behalf of EHLE Institute, there were Mr. Daisaku Hagihara – Vice President, EHLE Institute, and Ms. Phan Thi Quynh – Director, EHLE Vietnam Company Limited.

Following the discussion, UEF and EHLE came to an agreement on starting the Faculty Mobility program as well as conducting interchange activities for staff and faculty members. Additionally, both parties referred to long-term strategies and swapped educational materials with a view to promote academic exchange.

The meeting also focused on conducting the Student Mobility to strongly support exchange students; organizing periodic exchanges of scientific, academic, and cultural activities; and yielding more favorable conditions for UEF and EHLE faculty members to work together to adjust cooperative activities.

On behalf of EHLE, Mr. Daisaku Hagihara proposed that the two parties should have a more in-depth discussion on implementing internship programs in Japan for UEF seniors majoring in the Japanese Language.

UEF has constantly endeavored to enlarge its partner networks in pursuit of internationalization goals with the main objective of increasingly diversifying undergraduate programs and teaching methodologies for students. The cooperative agreement between UEF and EHLE has opened numerous possibilities for faculty members and students at UEF to access international education.
